Finding time of last commit to index from SolrJ?

Phil Scadden
The admin gui displays the time of last commit to a core but how can this be queried from within SolrJ?

I ended up doing something like this:

String core = "collection1_shard1_core1";
ModifiableSolrParams p = new ModifiableSolrParams();
p.set("show", "index");
GenericSolrRequest checkRequest = new GenericSolrRequest(POST, "/../" +
core + "/admin/luke", p);
NamedList<Object> checkResult = client.request("collection1", checkRequest);
