got it working, woohoo!!

vanderkerkof
Hello everyone

I've just got your indexing server to scan my sites, wicked news, webglimpse was driving me insane.

I did hav it working on my VM install some weeks ago as a test but now it's on it's own box and about to get moved into the mythical server room once I've configured it.

I've happy with the results I'm getting from localhost:8180, I just need to output the results in a different style and add some footers and headers etc etc.

I expect there are alot of options on how to do this, ie, export the data to the web server where the search box is, or some other fangled way, but for now, all I want to do is make the serach page and the search results page look like the rest of my sites.

Is that easy?

Any help, greatly appreciated.

http://www.nabble.com/Dissecting-the-Nutch-Search-Page-%28Please-Help%21%29-td5457479.html#a5457919

I'm using up to date nutch as of today,(260308) please tell me there
is an easier way of restyling the search and search results page than
what is described on the thread in this reply?

Well, I treid only altering the font type in the style html file, to
see if that might work

NOw when i try to run that ant war command I'm getting an error.

generate-locale:
      [echo] Generating docs for locale=ca
      [xslt] Transforming into /home/nutch/nutch/trunk/docs/ca
      [xslt] Processing /home/nutch/nutch/trunk/src/web/pages/ca/
about.xml to /home/nutch/nutch/trunk/docs/ca/about.html
      [xslt] Loading stylesheet /home/nutch/nutch/trunk/build/docs/ca/
nutch-page.xsl

declared.

entity "copy" was referenced, but not declared.
      [xslt] : Error!

      [xslt] Failed to process null

Can anyone help me with that?

I hve no idea what it means, footer.html is there, it is present, the
file righs are the same and I had changed it earlier with non
complaints, but now I've tried changing the font family it's busted.

I've changed all files back to how they were but its still giving me
that error.

any help would be useful

Re: got it working, woohoo!!

I solved that error.

I removed the build folder and then ran ant and ant war and ran it again, it worked ok.

I've now got to work out how to add our banner images and navigation.

Wish me luck.
