[jira] Created: (SOLR-47) wrong number of documents (numDoc = 16, not 15) in the tutorial

JIRA jira@apache.org
wrong number of documents (numDoc = 16, not 15) in the tutorial
---------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: SOLR-47
                 URL: http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SOLR-47
             Project: Solr
          Issue Type: Bug
Environment: GNU/linux, sun-jdk 1.5.0-07, solr checked out from the read-only svn today
            Reporter: Tomislav Nakic-Alfirevic
            Priority: Minor

The tutorial says:
"[after the update] numDoc should be 15..."
My stats pages, however, displays the following information: "numDocs : 16"

Going though the xml files in exampledocs, it's obvious there's 16 different IDs: it's just that the tutorial makes a point of there being only 15 documents (no duplicates) so it might confuse the reader.

--------------------------

    Resolution: Fixed
      Assignee: Hoss Man

fixed ... an example doc with non latin characters was added since the last time the tutorial was updated so the count was off.
