[jira] Created: (TIKA-220) Remove obsolete utility code

JIRA jira@apache.org
Remove obsolete utility code
----------------------------

                 Key: TIKA-220
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TIKA-220
             Project: Tika
          Issue Type: Improvement
            Reporter: Jukka Zitting
            Priority: Minor

The code in the org.apache.tika.Utils class and the getParsersFromZip() methods in org.apache.tika.ParseUtils are leftovers from pre-Tika time (when the Parser object actually contained the extracted text of a document).

I would simply remove the code as obsolete.
