[jira] Created: (TIKA-260) Weird transitive dependencies from commons-logging

JIRA jira@apache.org
Weird transitive dependencies from commons-logging
--------------------------------------------------

                 Key: TIKA-260
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TIKA-260
             Project: Tika
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Jukka Zitting
            Assignee: Jukka Zitting
            Priority: Blocker
             Fix For: 0.4

I found one blocker for the 0.4 release: Due to transitive commons-logging dependencies pulled in by POI, the tika-app jar ends up including things like the LogKit library, the Avalon framework and the Servlet API! I'll clean up that mess.
